I use a Rode NT1-A condenser microphone (with shockmount and pop screen) which has a bright crisp sound that is perfect for voice overs. Mounting upside down is not just for coolness, it lessens popped "p" sounds and sonic reflections.
I alternately use an Audix OM5 which is a high clarity dynamic mic for more raw or energetic performances.
I condition my audio signal with a PreSonus Eureka preamp channel which smooths out the tone nicely.
My audio input device is a Digidesign MBox2 which I use to record into ProTools.
